Tied up going into the third round. Pennington's gonna be swinging for the fences.

The judges better not mess this up. Esparza clearly won

Wow, one judge gave Tecia 30-27. That dude needs to be pulled.

I thought Carla won it, but Tecia won it 29-28 at best. Carla 100% won that first round and I would have given her the third as well.

Also, holy frick does Tecia have zero humility.

Typical in the UFC.

Does the UFC really have any say in who judges the events though? I know Dana is always bitching about shite judges.

Judging is truly a massive stain on this sport.

Consistently each and every week at least one fight (and often times more than one) gets screwed because the judges are either incompetent or compromised.

The UFC/MMA have the worst judging system in all of sports and everyone just says “oh well” and moves on to the next week. Nothing ever gets done about it.

Yea, state commissions provide, assign, and oversee the judges.

It’s state commissions yes, but pretty damn confident that the UFC has way more say so than Dana likes to say.

Seems like more of state athletic commission thing. shite judging isn't confined to mma but boxing and other combat sports as well. Those commissions have a history of being corrupt af. Probably not much to be done depending on whose palms are getting greased.

100%, but I've never felt this in UFC judging. Just really, really shitty takes.

Also, he pulled that OUTRA NOWHERE

I skipped the initial thread pages. What's the argument against? Roundtree getting a title shot?
