It was for wedding night at ballpark. Before game couples were married on the field so in honor of that, players and managers wore those jerseys.

Second time this year they have been worn

The jersey is horrible, but you have to love that about most of minor league baseball. They come up with all kinds of stuff to keep it interesting. Unfortunately, some minor league teams, such as the Gwinnett Braves of AAA do not understand that minor league games are supposed to be fun. Never had such a crappy time at a minor league game.
