Had two choices when first got cable....Cubs or braves....La doesn't have a team...grew up watching cubs.

My aunt lived there her entire life. went every summer to wrigley. only team I could actually follow growing up since it was before the days of every team being on TV every night. Pretty much as close as a home tema I could get in New Orleans besides the location. It's not as if New Orleans had a MLB team that I chose the cubs over because they were better.

That's why everybody I Know is eather a Cubs or Braves fan. I am an Astros fan becouse our cable sports channel when I was growing up was Fox sports SW and that is the only MLB games I have been to. I have had many arguments over this.

A lot of local basketball kids (white guys from the surrounding parishes particularly Livingston) love UNC basketball. Here's the dress up. Blue Jean Pants, white tee shirt, and North Carolina tar heel hat on backwards, with Jordans on. You can interchange the white tee shirt for a wife beater

Fall of 1995. I played in the midnight intersquad game to open the season. But like I said, I was a redshirt transfer, and flunked out. So I use the term on the team very lightly. I could have went back, but I was burned out.
