They want every big match in prime time there. The men's final was awesome when they played it in the daytime because it started at 10:00 pm eastern on Saturday night. I have a hard time getting into this tournament a bit when most of the action is in the middle of the night for me. I basically hope that things are still going when I wake up, which usually means a match is great.

Oh yea you might wake up to a Nadal - Kyrgios fifth set nail biter tomorrow morning. I hate it that I’ll miss most of the Slav - Kraut match without espn+. I’m pulling for my little Romanian Simona Halep she won me over in the Wimbledon Finals she wasn’t getting beat that day on grass by anyone.

Halep is playing out of her mind right now

Yup. I think Mertens has like 40 unforced errors, too. At least we will get to see a little of Thiem and Mofees before it gets too late. These matches today are awesome. I would probably bet on Rublev against Alex because I trust him more. Wawrinka/Medvedev is a heavyweight fight. I thought Stan would win last year in New York, but he got really frustrated in that match with Medvedev's style.

Yea Simona is banging out the baseline like always and no player on the WTA tour can run down a tennis ball like Halep except maybe Gauff. That 2019 Wimbledon Final was incredible she would have beaten anyone that day on Center Court. She has a French Open and Wimbledon I could see her getting an Australian and US Open to complete the career Slam.
ETA: Uh oh Elise Mertens is back on serve now in the 2nd set. I love Halep’s fire I love racket abuse get some Simona.

Alright Simona, finish her.

Why are the X Games on ESPN 2 instead of the AO?
On ESPN News now. X Games on EPSN2 Kobe eulogized on ESPN.

Great Kobe info from the Aussie Open. Serena's coach, Patrick, said Kobe asked him a million questions at the U.S. Open box last year. Then, I guess Kobe said he is in the Novak camp of the Big Three. They are playing a clip of Novak from two days ago on ESPN just gushing over him.

Yea Kobe Bryant was a huge tennis fan he was on ESPN set guest hosting at Wimbledon last July cheering on CoCo Gauff. He knew his tennis history as well. He liked to play and I believe his daughters hit with the Williams Sisters.

I remember watching that Novak interview live.... it's insane how quick things can turn around

moestar75, I slacked off last night and fell asleep. I have my alarm set for the Nadal match this time. I can't imagine missing that one

Yea I’m staying up for that 3:00 am match Oxford for sure. I’m curious how much of the crowd will pull for Nadal. Kyrgios has a way of provoking Rafa too. It could get intense.

Why are they showing the crap arse x games instead of tennis.
Posted on 1/26/20 at 8:34 pm to moester75
They moved the Australian Open to ESPN News. Monfils vs Thiem.
Posted on 1/26/20 at 8:38 pm to shaqtaw
I always forget the x games are a thing

Is Thiem really trying to do damage here?
