Why don't you give me the avg. home attendance for ulm minus the 'home game' in Little Rock?

My B. I remember being fairly intoxicated that day, probably why I didn't remember. :)

So that's Tech's excuse? "We can't outdraw ULM because they play a home game in Little Rock."
Why don't y'all do it then?

Because it's f*cking bush league.

Sorry, Tech. It's the truth.

T1, I stand corrected. I apparently misremembered. I do believe that prior to their final decision, they had decided that it would be one of the Texas schools--that's probably why I remembered it that way.
They were at 11 schools and debating if they should add another school for a championship game. They were considering Tech and North Texas primarily. Then they hired a consultant named Chuck Neinas and he went and asked UTEP if they would be interested (because SMU, Rice, and Tulsa had just left the WAC). UTEP thought about it for about a week and decided that it sounded like a good idea. It is uncertain if CUSA would have invited Tech or North Texas to go to 12 if UTEP hadn't shown interest. If they decided to go 12 and UTEP wouldn't have shown late interest, I'm about 90% sure Tech would have been chosen over North Texas.

i'm no la tech fan, but has la tech won a conference championship in any of the 3 major sports in the WAC?

Did you just accuse me of being a Tech fan?

What's the 3 major? Football, Basketball, Womens Basketball or Baseball?
We've won 1 football championship and a few Women's BB championships. No baseball or men's bb championships.

Anyway, I'm done with the ulm/ull/Tech pissing match.
Back on topic:
It's obvious and undeniable that the current/new WAC will be a shite-pile. I don't want to go to the Sunbelt, but if we don't get that CUSA bid we need, anyone who says staying in the WAC will be better is a moron.

As far as the level of competition, the WAC is fine for Tech. They've won a football title in their decade there, and their all-time WAC record is 37-35.
As far as attendance goes, they belong in the Sun Belt (way to get 2/3 of your stadium full for Boise State, boys!).

There are a lot of people on the LTBBB who think that going indy is the best idea.

Which is more than Fresno State and as many as Hawaii and Nevada have won. Boise usually goes undefeated and wins it, obviously.
