He pretty much shite his bed by telling everyone that he wouldn't sign an extension with anyone but Brooklyn and by being a complete bitch over the past 2 seasons. I was a huge DH fan until recently.
No one wants to trade a lot for him with his wishy-washy mind and swearing he won't re-up with anyone. So he may be stuck wit Orlando for the season, unless they'll concede and take less than what he's worth. Now that Brooklyn is out of the picture, I guess he has to open up to other ideas.

I'm guessing Kevin Martin (expiring) Lamb, Royce White, maybe Montajunas, and the picks. They have a guaranteed lotto pick from Toronto as well as the dallas pick, and two 2nd round picks from NY.

I honestly dont know WTF Houston is thinking with this trade. Unless they have some assurance that he will resign which is unlikely since the Houston roster would be much worse than the current Magic roster.
No Lowry, Dragic, Budinger, Lee. Martin's expiring will likely be moved in the deal. Amnesty for Scola. That is their 6 leading scorers from last year (no Camby or Dalembert either). Lamb and White will probably be included in the deal. Who the frick will Howard play with? The rest of the roster would be complete shite.

The Nets are out of the picture now. Houston can offer him more than any other team if they get him. If he doesnt want to stay, they can work a sign and trade and bring back a star (bynum?)
I think they have thought this out and they are being aggressive. As a fan I like it.

They also lost Camby to the Knicks.
Who's left that is decent? Lamb? Parsons?

I just can't imagine Howard being happy on that team.
Houston is in a really good spot right now with Lamb, Jones, Motiejunas, White, and the draft picks they got. They are basically in salary cap heaven. A Howard trade will ship out most of those players, the draft picks, and they will be taking in a couple bad contracts. Even if they would manage to swing him in a sign and trade for Bynum the rest of the roster would be in shambles.

Atlanta can offer the Magic more than anyone else right now. Idk why Dwight doesn't want to come back to his hometown. He'd be the biggest star in the city

All those players you named have a combined 0 all-star appearances. As much as I hate losing some of those guys, it just isn't a big loss. Also, Lee isn't gone yet. Rockets could still field a team of:
???/Douglas/Duhon
Lee/JRich
Parsons/Morris/Jones
Patterson/Davis
Howard/Motiejunas
Which isn't great, but they will have cap room next year to sign a max player.

Oh lord. Rockets official twitter following Hedo now. I hope they are just trolling.

Sources say rockets have to send Kevin Martin, Chandler Parsons, Marcus Morris, Patrick Patterson, Jeremy Lamb, Terrance Jones, Royce White, and multiple first round picks which include the Toronto Pick for a combo of Hedo, Duhon, Davis, Richardson and Howard.
They are pretty much switching teams lol. Orlando Magic benefit way more though,
