Fantastic game, plus it's always good when the Phillies lose

That's what they get for shutting Cliff down.

Should have let him go one more.

I mean, Verlander threw over 130, why not Lee?

Cutting pitchers off at 100 pitches is the dumbest thing in the game today.

125-130 should be the cut off for guys that are throwing the ball well, like tonight.

He was averaging what, 10 pitches per inning? That's ridiculous, leave him in.

I'm off to bed. Till tomorrow.

I agree. Pitchers should be cut off when it starts to become apparent that they are getting worn out. If a guy is still effective at 100 pitches, let him go another inning.

Runner at 3rd, 1 out top 11.

No way you leave him in.

Lee didn't pitch in the 11th.

eta: but I believe you are referencing Cain, and Cain was taken out after 9.

Lee was due up 3rd in the 11th.

Even though he was only at 102 pitches, I was saying pinch hitting for him was the right decision.

If there had been nobody on, you can leave him in for the bottom half.
