I would hate to rent beltran for a year and give up a prospect that will come back and bite us in the arse in years to come.

Yeah, I think there's a definite possibility we're going after Beltran....
Unfortunately, they seem to believe Schafer is fine in CF.
I think what will end up happening is we acquire a RH reliever and some average bench bat type... or maybe a guy like Pence or something, if they are serious about sending JHey down.
