It seems like a lot of people are writing off Jurrjens. I think he'll bring his ERA back to sub 4 this year and threaten to win 15 games. He was hurt last year, got shelled, was on IR for a long time, and came back and steadily got his ERA back to around 4. If he's healthy I think he can surprise some people.

Noone's writing him off I don't think

I think he'll definitely get his ERA down to 3.50ish or so, just not the sub 3 ERA we saw in 2009

He's a good #2, great #3 for this team

Hopefully he can pitch his way into big time trade bait after this year

Hulla, it was tainted. Ruben Amaro loaned Lee to Sea and Tex, Lee should've been in Philly all last year. Yet, still Phils took GMen to Top 8th - Gm6, without Lee(whom carried Tex to WS), and with no hitting from Utz, JRoll, Howard, Ibanez, ShaneVic.

Lee gonna carry a 3rd straight team to the WS in 2011.

P.S. Thanks Atlanta, again, for the GMen sweep, it allowed SF to set their rotation vs Phils in NLCS..and the tough 4-3 Gm1 Lincecum win over Doc.

All those innings on that lil' 170 lb body in 2010...2011 the Freak's bowtie comes unfurled..medicinal maryjane can't save the GMen from the Philly Paintrain..trim Panda must pay the piper for 2010's sins..doom!

P.S. Check out BWeezy's forearms and pecs..Machine should take note.

The Giants didn't sweep us. I didn't read the rest of that garbage.

You're right, I forgot the win, was pulling for it to go 5..tight games..good series.

Braves should be favored to get WC again in 2011.

P.S. Great reading technique, in reading the last line of the post about 'sweep'..without the other junk before it.

Phillies = 90s Braves. 1 championship. Too much good pitching today and the Phils line up isn't as good as it was a couple of years ago.

Only in year #4 of this Phils run, not Braves 14th.

Only in 2nd yr with Doc and Lee and Oswalt on team, of which Lee and Oswalt, there for but the 2nd half runs.

In 2010, Utley, JRoll, Howard, Ibanez, Victorino, Lidge, Moyer, Blanton, etc..all hurt for spells or longer.

Phils will not probably win the East more than 5 or 6 consecutive, and are an aging roster, that will need some minor leaguers to come up big, and/or keep adding like NYY and Bost do via free agency to sustain their elite status.

To project them with the Braves run of the last twenty years, isn't fair to the greatness of Atl's divisional streak, of which Philly will not match.

Yet, also in the Phillies case, to slander them as Buffalo Braves or Atlanta Bills, in terms of crowns won, when a mere staff anchored by Hamels and Moyer and Blanton, carried them to the same amount of WS crowns won by Bobbie's entire Braves run, in just their 2nd season of this current 4 straight NL East crowns run, is also unfair.

Philly should win at least one of the next three or four WS.

I was thinking only for TV games, but whatever you guys think. Also FWIW, this game will be replayed at 6 Central tonight on SNY for those who get that (639 on DirecTV).

I could get on board for a separate thread for games on TV. Don't we have one Wednesday on ESPN?
