How much longer are we on the hook with him? Or are we no longer paying him 7 million a year to be horrible?

This is the last year on his contract. The Braves are trying to showcase him today for a trade, but he is sucking as usual. He's not even on the 40-man roster anymore, so he won't be on the team. I guess he'll go to the minors and they'll keep trying to trade him. And he won't accept a move back to Japan because he wants to prove he can pitch in the USA.

I would love to ship his sorry arse back to Japan. Especially since there were teams who agreed to pay over half of his remaining 6 million he was owed.
