Building off of the the "Texas is so overrated" thread, this is one of the worst 1-2 seeds in college baseball this decade. Granted, they both made Omaha, which doesn't always happen with the top 2 seeds, but TCU and Louisville were two pretty weak super regional opponents. Thoughts?

TCU is better than you think.

Wow are you kidding me? Coming from a team who has been 4 years in a row and hosted ECU. Win a championship then talk about teams who have combined for 10.

Fullerton was #1 in RPI, ISR, and SOS. They have played poorly in Omaha, but not sure they weren't deserving of their seed.

Texas IMO is a different story.

LSU? They've won a couple.

I tend to think Texas is overrated and Fullerton is just having a couple rough games ... but I could be wrong.

If Virginia had played the way they have played in the tournament all year, they may have been a top 8 seed.

LOL I just do that to copy another poster on this site. MY team is LSU, and we have won our fair share. And Texas is VERY overrated this year.

exactly what I was going to say. CSF is no joke. We are lucky they have had these two rough games. Texas is overrated as a 1 seed IMO but still a good team. I still think LSU and CSF are the two best teams in the country. It's baseball though, anyone can lose two games.

fullerton, granted played a lot of good teams, they didnt play the stud southern teams that can hit with the best of them, and that have dominating aces

I think LSU, Fullerton, North Carolina, and Arizona State could all be ranked 1-4. Glad Fullerton may be two and done, though.

It's tough to have your whole season come down to double ellimination. Wish once you got to Omaha it was more of a 1 on 1 playoff structure.

Well, they are playing LSU next year in BR, so maybe that will help, (LSU didn't want to go to Fullerton on the return trip.)

I honestly think that Fullerton has just played 2 bad games. Renken and Ramirez (So. and Fresh.) just didn't do well. IF they lose today, they will be back next year...

I guess Southern Miss isn't a "stud Southern team," but I don't have too many fond memories of the Fullerton/Southern Miss series from earlier this year.

Well, would you rather have that same freshman starting an elimination game? people just say that shite without actually thinking about the whole bracket situation. Also, Renken is only a sophomore who has never been to Omaha.

6 and 6 in my opinion. This coach has taken 2 different teams to Omaha so I trust hm to make these decisions, just as I do PM with LSU.
