Thiem and Medevedev coming up in a few minutes on ESPN2. There is some chatter about the Australian Open getting pushed back a few months, but Tennis Australia is denying that right now.

Where would it fit on the schedule? Right after IW and Miami? Don't know how that would work if the 2-week quarantine is still set in place.
Just read they are considering April. I guess that might work.

You could talk me into the ATP Finals championship match being 5 sets.
Obviously the players don't want it, especially after they're worn out from a long season and a long week.

Going three in London. Some of the Masters series used to play best of five in finals. I looked back at Federer and Nadal's head to head. They played best of five in Miami, Monte Carlo, and Rome.

I totally agree. It used to be 5 sets. I don't know when they dropped it to 3.
Hell, several Masters events used to be 5 sets.
