The problem we had was Smartass came up with a scheme to trade keeper slots so that some people could keep more than 12 and others less. I think after keepers are kept you should be able to do as you please.

I don't know what your trade is but if it involves picks you could still agree to it on the side and knat could tell you who to pick (or vice versa) and you could complete the trade after the draft.
