I don't see how it can be argued that JJ and Hansbrough were not good college players. They were both great in the college game.
See I agree. I don't get where someone can say that TH sucks just because they don't like Carolina. I hate JJ Reddick, but I respect his game. Dude could flat out play ball. But he played for Duke therefore I hate him. Plus he was a whiney little bitch.

For his first 3 years. He worked hard on this aspect and developed into a player who was a threat shooting and to put the ball on the floor.

How close is Hansbrough to Redick's record? He only has three more games (at most) to pass him since the NCAA tournament games won't count. Therefore, it may actually stay with Redick.
For his first two years, JJ was just a spot-up shooter and a defensive liability, but by the end of middle of his junior season, he could create his own shot fairly well. You can't average 21 and 26 points per game in the ACC by just being a spot up shooter. Unfortunately, this aspect of his game did not translate at all to the NBA.

Supposedly he only needs 50 something points to tie and or pass JJ. In all likelyhood he will pass him in the ACC tourney. I have heard that the NCAA counts. If so he will surely pass him then if he plays like crap in the acc's.

It looks like you are right. I just got this off the NCAA page, although it doesn't specify individual stats.
