Belichick isn't worried about being called a cheater. He just wants to be objectively the biggest winner. Nothing is beyond him. Hell I'd love to be a Pats fan, he's brought them 4 Super Bowls and 2 more appearances. They don't care that the Pats might have cheated to get there

Patriots are smart enough to know the difference between the "spirit of a rule" and the actual damn rule. There's no reason to follow the spirit of the rule if it's helping the other team. If other teams don't wanna break the "spirit of the rule", then that's their problem, and they're at a disadvantage. Football has far too many rules as it is, no need to follow rules that don't actually exist too
