If we judge careers off of rookie seasons then Vince Young and RG3 should be HOF players. But they’re not.
Also almost nobody “trashed” Cincinnati for taking Chase. They may have disagreed but I do t think anyone thought Chase would be anything but a good WR in the NFL. They just valued OT over WR. Which is fine
