I debated over this game long and hard in the Pick 'Em contest. I eventually went with Fresno St. I think they're still in Fresno the way they're playing.

Margus Hunt is a monster. I'm no SMU fan... but I can't wait to see what kind of numbers he throws up at the combine.

I got Fresno in this one..the only blemish on my score sheet this far has been ULL. The only reason I picked against them was because I knew everyone else in my group would pick them. Plan backfired.

SMU is NOT a 2nd half team, Brewhan. They whip out their toe-shooter more often than not. Fresno gets a TD here and you can relax.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND Margus Hunt just destroyed the QB.

You're fricked, Brewhan.

Well in his defense his offensive line is not helping him at all. Fresno's right tackle is getting worked by Hunt.

For my own sake I hope your analysis proves correct here

It's apparent Fresno St isn't a 1st half team. They are getting whipped every way but sideways. That may happen in the 2nd half.

Agreed. I looked up Hunt and apparently his trainer is projecting him to bench 225 45 times and run a 40 yard in 4.6 seconds at the combine. That's insane for someone his height and weight.

I was pretty close on my Andy Dalton vs. Philly projection, wasn't I?

(pretty sure that was you I was talking to in the LNST)

Well Fresno has to figure out how to block Hunt. He's playing in their backfield so far
