The KC Royals had their baseball academy in operation for a few years, but folded it, mostly because 'baseball men' turned their noses up at it.
Should MLB start such an academy for draftees or free agents to sharpen their skills and get them exposure to scouts? All teams would kick in to fund the academy.

Pretty much every team has this individually for their draftees, and it seems like it’s only going to be expanded with the speculation of eliminating minor league teams.
One for free agents could be interesting if the contraction of minor league baseball does happen
