Shane Battier can absolutely shut Kobe down.
Shane can like he did last year in the game we won by 20 but he won't more than likely. Kobe is gonna get his points, the Rockets just have to hope they can keep them to a minimum.

Your backcourt defense is not better. I'm sorry to tell you, but Fish, Brown, Kobe, and Ariza are all very good defenders, and now we aren't facing a big PG.
This is false, the Lakers do have a great backcourt Defense but it does not beat what the Rockets can throw at you with Battier, Artest, and Lowery. You will see a lot more of Kyle Lowery in the series than you did against portland for the exact reason you listed at the end. Kyle is a very good defensive PG which the Rockets will need to stop Fish and Farmar.

Yeah, only a retard would think that it's far fetched.

Too bad Artest and Battier are forwards and thus not part of the backcourt.

Stop capitalizing random words you old frick.
Backcourt = PG/SG
Frontcourt = SF/PF/C
Artest/Battier = SF

Artest plays just about every position on the floor but has been our starting 2 since T mac went down. Battier is a wing denfender and while not considered a true back court defender I consider him one for this series and this argument because his responsibilities are to take on Kobe

Question?
Would you seriously bet on the Rockets to beat the Lakers this series?

Talk about irony, especially sense you run and RA everytime someone says that they're going to dip their dick in your daughter. Isn't it about time for you to get fed up with the board and vow to retire, only to come back two days later?

We are talking from a technical standpoint though. Gasol can play the 4 or 5. Ariza can play the 2 or 3. Brown can play the 1 or 2. Odom can play the 1, 2, 3, or 4. Obviously players aren't set in their positions. Traditionally, Artest and Battier are small forwards though. I get what you're saying though, and if you include Artest and Battier in the backcourt, does that mean they are in the frontcourt as well? I'm just trying to put people in positions for sake of argument.

I KNOW I hit a nerve now!! Let me tell you something BOY!! I have been following the NBA since BEFORE YOU were a drop in YOUR daddy's pants. DON'T EVER frick with PJ about sports knowledge. The ROCKETS WILL WIN THIS SERIES!!!!!!!!

Sorry but that is not a smart bet. Not saying the Rockets have no chance but they probably aren't winning this series and anyone who follows basketball knows that.

No. In terms of front court D and backcourt d I would say the Rockets start Ron Shane and Aaron in the backcourt and Luis and Yao in the frontcourt.

You think the small forward position is part of the backcourt and that the Pistons would take the Cavs to 7. Your privileges to post on this board have been revoked.
