So if you knock a kicker out to where he needs assistance he can't come back in and make the kick? Why wouldn't you just do this every time now?

If you don't call that roughing the kicker you don't know the rules. No other possibility.

Yes, straight into the knee on the kicker's planted leg. There was definitely no other place for him to go. Or for him to just stop in the first place.

1. I never said it wasn't.

2. You can't call roughing the kicker on a kick that never happened. You could call something unsportsman like, but there's no roughing the kicker on a play that didn't happen. Knowing the rules like you do, I'd think you'd know that.
