Been looking forward to this since it was announced in the spring. Tbh I don’t think you have to be a wrestling fan to enjoy Classic Ric Flair and the stories of his “escapades”

I wonder what they can possibly show that WWE hasn't already put together for Flair? Maybe it's about his last few years

This man lived the gimmick. He transformed himself into the character and never turned back.

Jim Ross had the director on his podcast talking about this movie. ESPN originally wanted a Andre the giant movie. In the I hate Christian laettner movie, Ric flair made a small cameo and was trending on Twitter afterwards. Since then, espn wanted a Ric flair movie.

Definitely the Greatest of All Time.

He talked the talk, walked the walk.

Flair had excellent matches with everyone regardless of their size or style.

He was the NWA / WCW World Champion for 8 years out of an 11 year run. He went from territory to territory defending the title against top guys from all over... day in and day out.

I don't watch wrestling. I'm part of the "wrestling is stupid because it isn't real" crowd, but I will still watch the 30 for 30 because they always have a way of making things that I am not interested in come to life and have meaning. Flair is certainly one of the characters that I will be interested in.

There have been several 30 for 30's about things that I didn't care about to begin with that were well done and interesting. The first one that comes to mind is the one about Todd Marinovich. I will definitely see what's up with this one tonight and I plan on having some interesting knowledge dropped on me.

Flair got the business the way most performers didn't.

He got his arse kicked around in every match, because he knew by raising the level of his opponents, he'd get heat when he inevitably stole the victory away from them. And the fans would keep tuning in waiting for him to finally get his come-uppance.
