sadly it usually takes 2-3 weeks for the poll to adjust after a set of games.
so, if both OSU and VT win next week, id wager that VT jumps them as pollsters realize they were originally fn retarded.

There shouldn't be polls until mid October, but it's just fluff at this point to push early season ranked teams on TV.
