Which is why I hesitated approximately 0.00003 seconds before risking $1,300 on Bama to win $100.

They ain't losing the game.

I remember you always saying that you like to take money lines like this one when you feel like it is an absolutely lock its basically free money. When I posted the question, I was actually hoping you would respond.

Can anyone that bets on 5Dimes explain the payout process? If I am reading it right, I have to show proof of visa deposit (bank statement I'm assuming), Copy of Photo ID, and copy of front and back of Visa Card, and fill out an authorization form. Is this correct? Seems like a lot to do..

If you used a card to deposit money then year, the id and the card, it doesnt have to be a bank statement, you can send a utility bill or cell phone bill to prove that you still live at the address listed with your card, it sucks but 5dimes isnt as bad as other sites.

If you deposit using WU or moneygram you dont have to send them anything to cashout.

It's true. It's a play most people are reluctant to make, and I understand why, but I just flip it around and think about it a different way. Basically, you've just got money sitting on a table. Free money for the taking. Don't leave it there. Grab it. It's free.

Yea sounds about right. I had to leave 5dimes because the initial Visa card I used to deposit was a Visa prepaid cc and I no longer have the card, which makes it difficult and causes problems when withdrawing.

Has it ever bit you in the arse with a big underdog winning?

i use western union online...setting up an account takes 2 minutes and 5dimes puts the money in within 10 minutes. I just type the name and where its going, etc. Its a pain in the arse to go to a store that has western union to do it.

ETA: That's why I like to parlay 4-5 moneylines when they're available for big favorites.

I'll do this for huge huge huge favorites. In tennis, for example, sometimes the odds are so high that there's just no reasonable way you can bet on a guy like Novak Djokovic in an early round. But toss Rafa and Serena in there, and you're good.

Yeah, once in 2011. I can't even remember the game. I had to erase it from my memory.

But I'm in my 6th year now of betting on CFB, and I play the moneyline A LOT. I've won a lot more with it than I've lost.

But, to be clear, never a HUGE underdog winning. I've never had like a Stanford v. USC in 2006 situation or anything like that.

IDK about moneyline but if you research ULM under Berry, they are a pretty solid cover. Has nothing to do with the Arkansas upset, i just like em cause they have a pretty good history of covering the number

On the flip side of that, I'd be curious what % OU has covered on these early games the past 2-3 years. I know I've been burned by them on teams like UTEP, Tulsa, etc the past couple of years. Starting to like that ULM +22 more and more as I type this.

ETA: Went back and looked up the numbers up on Oklahoma. From '09-'12, in OOC games that OU is favored by double-digits, they're 5-6 ATS. FWIW.

USC lost a game that was like a 40 point line a few years back.

guy had a meltdown over that game ( I think the guy was on covers though)

I've gotten beat a few times with it. Not because the big dog won, but because I got greedy and added more and more teams to thicken the pot and the games with "better" odds that were juicing the pot lost.

Therxforum. He parlayed USC and another 40 plus point favorite on the moneyline for like 5 grand to win $20. Called it his free dinner money bet.

That was when Stanford beat USC. One of the biggest upsets ever.
