Mine Line is -540. Line should be 1600 to win 100. Maria dominates everyone else so the book/public just can't discern how superior SW's serve and movement are to MS. So superior that Maria KNOWS she can't win before they take the court.

5 Dimes has it right now as Serena -495. If I were setting the line, I would put it no lower than -1200.

If that's all you had on Serena at -540, you need to think hard about your investment portfolio. Serena is focused. Losing that Set to Svetlana was the best thing that could have happened. No way a 5'4" player with no weapons and no serve (but ranked #5) was going to sneak up on SW or threaten her in any way.
Right now I'm risking $1,500 to win $300. Am I tempted to go even bigger? Sure. But I don't bet on women's tennsi, so this is already a pretty dramatic departure from normal protocol.

Final predictions for the Rafa-Djoker match?
Djokovic in 5.
5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7, 7-5
If that scoreline looks familiar, good observation.

Let's look at Djoker. His serve has been known to depart him at times. His two hand backhand is pure, but when he has to let go with the left, his right hand grip is too weak making his slice float a little. His forehand is relative weak and he can lose his feel for during stretches in matches. He also has been known to get to where he can't get enough air at times
(although this has happened much since he went to the new diet about 4 years ago. He is not a natural mover on clay although he has improved here as well. He hugs the baseline like Agassi did, but on clay that can make it tough to handle some of the heavy topspin and irregular bounces you get. It's much easier to catch the ball on the rise when you know very well where it's going to be and it doesn't have much work on it.
1. Are you willing to call Djokovic's serve a weakness? It isn't a strength, but it's not like it's getting picked on.

I'm not following you heere. What do you mean, "when he has to go with the left"?

Weak compared with his backhand, or with someone else's forehand?
I'm not ready to call his forehand a weakness.

Why is Nadal-Joker first tomorrow? I thought the first seed plays the second match. Maybe I'm missing something..
Maybe to get them more rest...

I'm super pumped that I won't be able to watch Djoker/ Nadal live.
Heavy sarcasm.

They tape delaying it in the US? Live at 8pm primetime here in Aussieworld!
I will never understand the US's obsession with tape delays. This isn't the fvcking 60s anymore. Everything should be broadcast live. If you want to rebroadcast it later, fine, but it should all be live as well.

No, I think he's upset he can get it online (as am I). When Tennis Channel has the block, I don't think anyone provides it online. Tennis Channel has the rights from 7-11 eastern, then NBC.

Rafa's game plan- high-bounce backhand on every shot to Djoker.

It's working, Novak is crushing it into the bottom of the net. Outside of barely missing his shots he's competing well
