The premise: use only Big XII games to determine the Big XII South representative objectively (in response to those who claim there is no objective way to decide this).

Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas Tech:
- are 7-1 in the Big XII
- are 1-1 head-to-head
- are 4-1 vs. their division
- are 5-1 vs. common Big XII opponents

I'm gonna lead off with two ways that I don't like to use (but at least they're objective), and then end with the one I like the best.

I. Scoring Ratio
(I do not like using scoring margin/ratio because the object of the game is to win, not win by a certain amount of points.)
-A. Head-to-head Scoring Ratio
----1. Oklahoma 1.52
----2. Texas 1.05
----3. Texas Tech 0.61
-------advantage: Oklahoma
-B. Big XII Scoring Ratio
----1. Oklahoma 1.79
----2. Texas 1.82
----3. Texas Tech 1.41
-------advantage: Texas

II. Home/Away/Neutral
(I don't like using this because the playing site is predetermined and agreed upon, and each team agrees to play a game beginning with a 0-0 score; I don't like giving "brownie points" for taking a plane ride. Home-field advantage is a subjective perception of things that are not on the field of play.)
-A. Oklahoma
----1. Home 1-0
----2. Away 0-0
----3. Neutral 0-1
-B. Texas
----1. Home 0-0
----2. Away 0-1
----3. Neutral 1-0
-C. Texas Tech
----1. Home 1-0
----2. Away 0-1
----3. Neutral 0-0
-------advantage: Texas. Texas went 1-1 in the tie playing a road game but no home game.

III. Strength of Big XII Schedule
* Remember, only Big XII games are counted
(This one is best imho because it uses nothing but wins and losses, the only undeniably objective thing there is.)
-A. Opponents' combined record
----1. Oklahoma 34-30
----2. Texas 34-30
----3. Texas Tech 34-30
-------advantage: push
-B. Opponents' Opponents' combined record
----1. Oklahoma 261-251
----2. Texas 260-252
----3. Texas Tech 261-251
-------advantage: Oklahoma and Texas Tech. This would eliminate Texas from the tie, resulting in a two-team tie with Oklahoma and Texas Tech. Head-to-head, the tie-breaker, favors Oklahoma.

In my opinion, Strength of Big XII schedule is the best tie-breaker here, and the numbers prove it to be easily the closest three-way tie I've ever seen.

(Here's another tie-breaker that could be used.)

IV. Graduation Rates LINK
(I'd like to see this one used, ever.)
-A. Oklahoma 46%
-B. Texas 50%
-C. Texas Tech 79%
----advantage: Texas Tech.
