Notre Dames defense is just so salty and relentless. If Riverside wins this game they will have earned it that's for sure. I've noticed Riverside has given up some points as well. Calvary Baptist scored 91 points against Byrd, Teurlings, and Zachary. They scored 7 against Notre Dame. If Riversides OLine isn't really good then it will be tough sledding I'm afraid. That dink and dunk passing offense might work if the QB can get rid of the ball quickly.

Well you still can't say they can't throw against a good defense though
Calvary Baptist has 3 DB's who are college football recruits, didn't help them much. ND is very capable of throwing the ball if needed. RA has to stop the running game first, which no one has successfully done this year. Also, ND's special teams, especially punt returns are outstanding.

If I had to bet money, I'd put it on ND. Defense wins championships.

It's all about physicality up front and riverside is the first team this year that can match ND in that category. Calvary could have had 18 D1 D backs and it wouldn't have mattered.

Riverside's Linebackers are the strength of that defense.

Notre Dame survived 2 TOs in their own territory. Both defenses are salty.

Riverside 3-0 after 1.
