It began with the Charlotte City Council taking g up the issue to allow trannies to go wherever they wanted.
The GA notified the council that, under state law, it had no authority to do so. Council did it anyway. GA then passed HB2 rather challenge Charlotte in court where it would drag on for years.
Once passed, the NCAA, ACC and others acted like it was an endorsement of the Klan or something.
Having worked two basketball tournaments in NC this past month, I can assure you HB2 was NOT an issue for the teams, officials or fans. It's just a bunch of PC crap run amok.
