God, do I hate the fricking Brewers. They refused to make this game (or Game 5) interesting. I cant imagine a playoff team having a worse 12 innings than the Brewers have just put together.

On a plus note, they only have to wait another 15-20 years for the stars to align and they'll be right back in the playoffs.

Both these teams outscored the Rams today...by the end of the second inning.

They'll be back soon. They've got a good young nucleus. They probably lose Fielder, but if they spend wisely, they could compete again next year.

Tbh, I've been down on winning this series since game 3.

Just checked back and they put up another 4 runs. Sweet.

Yeah. He'd be one big-arse 2nd baseman. Being able to play all three outfield positions and both corner infield positions makes it possible to play 130+ games for a LaRussa squad.

Fielder almost hit a perfect pitch in the dirt out to dead center.

Even some of the outs are loud, for both sides.

This was easily their best shot. They (smartly) traded their top line prospects to go for it this year. They will still have Weeks, Braun, and Hart, but the rest of their lineup is horrible (and they have little payroll flexibility). They will need to upgrade SS and 3B from "atrocious" to "below average", replace their 1B (and Braun's protection), and restock their bullpen. They will lose a number of guys after next year. Greinke just wasn't good enough for them, they needed him to be their ace and he was not in in that class.

The Brewers have put some good swings on Salas. He's got good stuff... just needs to keep them more honest with fastballs... preferably not to McGahee though.

Can we sign up for more "one run every two innings", like maybe for the rest of the game? I'd go for that.
