I've got Sirius online on but its delayed so I have the MLB app open too. Not optimal but now if I head home, I'm going to jinx this run so I'm staying here until the games over. No choice

Well the bats are definitely gonna have to wake up now. It was a matter of time before the pitching staff returned to regular season form

It is shaping up to be a glorious evening in Chavez Ravine for the Metropolitans

You aren’t missing much as far as I’m concerned. This game sucks so far, lol. I came into this game expecting a Dodgers victory but a low scoring affair after how amped up everyone was last night. I didn’t think your bats would get shut down like they were and I didn’t expect your guys would erupt like they have so far. 3 - 4 runs is what I was anticipating. Anyway, back to the game…

It’s 76 degrees here. They’ll need a better excuse. They may have blown their whole pitching wad in the last few games.

I said before the playoffs that LA didn’t have enough pitching to win it all.

why in God's name does MLB have game 2 of the NLCS starting at 2pm on a non-holiday Monday afternoon?

swear, it's like this league purposely wants to sabotage their ratings and existence. no one makes it harder to watch their product than Major League Baseball.

postseason games have been played on a weekday afternoon for decades.

I think they showed a stat, before the game yesterday, that LA's starting rotation had like a 6.68 ERA or something.

It must've been 9.50 before you factor goddamn Flaherty in.

Unless Manaea starts to lose it, I think he's gonna go as long as possible. At around 70 pitches, he's probably got another inning or two before they go to the pen.

Agreed. I think if they can get two more that would be ideal for them. Not too much exposure for the pen and get back home splitting the first two games.

As good as you can hope for, especially with a 2-3-2 format. If it goes back to LA, I think the Mets will be up 3-2 in the series.
