Snatched this from the Saints board where I was lurking.

Mile High Salute?
Sack dances?

A TD should be celebrated plenty. Sacks are huge, they should be celebrated. Turnovers.

First downs don't necessarily deserve a celebration every time. But clearly there are examples of when they should be. I get tired of celebrating every catch and every run, but leave TD's turnovers and sacks out of it.

Seriously, frick Roger Goodell. He won't rest until he shits on every minute detail of what used to be the NFL.

"We can't keep players from fricking up off the field, so we'll just police their every move on the field"

I'd rather them crack down on players asking the refs to throw a flag after every incompletion. Keep the touchdown dances.

No big deal for falcons fans. There will not be anything to celebrate this year

cam newton does the superman. He does a fricking TD celebration. I like when players emphatically do the first down signal.

Yeah, and his team is usually 3-9 when he's doing it. What a douche.

Not really, he does this:

those are fine, I like that stuff especially on big 3rd downs

I've seen him do the superman and I've seen players basically do a td celebration for a first down. It's annoying, but I'd rather have both than neither.

On a big 3rd down I'm cool with it. But there's no reason to do a celebration for every single first down.

And then when they celebrate a play that doesn't even accomplish a first down, that really bothers me.
