They’re gotta change the way they present these awards

The MVP should have the right to accept his trophy in front of his playoff home crowd, IMO.

That would be cool.

I think the show is a cool idea (even though I haven't watched one of them yet lol), the timing is just terrible. The hype is pretty much dead before the 2nd round of the playoffs.

I hate that they're awarded after the postseason now. Not a fan.

I think Dirk accepting the MVP award after getting swept by Golden State in the first round changed that process

The Dream cooking The Admiral after seeing the MVP presented to him is one of the best moments in playoff basketball and the Spurs-Rockets rivalry.

I took some deep breaths, looked at like 3 of the Larrys, and checked the playoff scoreboard.

I'm calm. Woosah.

TBird appreciates the Spurs/Rox rivalry.

It’s hard not to.

As the East major markets haven’t been collectively good at the same time in decades, the West has better rivalries.

Spurs-Lakers too.

Mavs are our rivals. And Lakers to a degree due to shared postseason history.

I-10 dustups with Houston are fun, but not really rivalry material.

Real Rockets fans that I know consider both Mavs and Spurs rivals.

Some “rivalries” are certainly one sided though.

LSU-Bama
Warriors-Rockets
LSU-TAMU
Cards-Cubs
OSU-UM
Celtics-Knicks

etc.

I should’ve said actual Houstonians...

My college roommates were from H-Town. Highly enjoyed that T-Mac/Yao squad.

The refs fricked them against the Mavs one year.

He probably was right behind Doc at 4. Same record but Doc had a tougher schedule.
