NAIA World Series Thread | LSUS Quest for Perfection (LSUS wins, 56-0, back Wed. night)

After the day off Sunday... we're back to it on Monday in the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho
LSUS plays its 2nd game of the World Series, looking to go to 56-0 overall, tonight against Hope International at 8:30 pm central time
Unfortunately Louisiana's other team is finished as Loyola New Orleans was eliminated earlier today... falling behind 9-0 after 2 innings to University of the Cumberlands from Kentucky and rallying to make it a 1-run game in the 8th but ultimately losing 9-8 to end their 1st World Series trip

I have no idea how Georgia Gwinnett isn't NCAA
Pretty much all of their sports are NAIA Championship competitive every year... and that's while being an independent

Their softball team won their game today in the NAIA Softball World Series
Their baseball team currently leads 5-0 in the Baseball World Series
Also... no Lewis-Clark State in the field this year? When did LCSC lose its auto-bid to the World Series as the host?
That had been talked about for years but the NAIA finally forced LCSC to actually earn a spot in the last 10
