A free kick out of bounds hasn’t allowed for a re-kick in at least 10 years, if it ever allowed for it. Alot of other penalties during the kick cluster to allow for re-kicks, but not kicking OOB.

Never thought the nfl rule was different than college. Apologies to all

College rule makes way more sense because it doesn’t give you the option to 100% avoids a return
