Strider has been the more dominant player at his position, but I don't get the feeling the voters care about that. Harris being an every day player is the only thing putting him over the top. And Harris has been terrific, and I am taking nothing away from what he's done; but not coming up until almost June, to me, kind of trumps the "plays every day" argument, but everything seems to point to Harris, nevertheless. I wish they could share the award. It technically could happen, but probably won't.
I agree with your list, except that I don't know that Lindor really qualifies as much of a comeback player. It's kind of a weak list in the NL for that award. I wonder if Pujols had enough volume of playing time for consideration? He definitely hit much better this year than he has in a while. And it was totally unexpected.

It is absurd if Showalter ends up with manager of the year, he blew a 10.5 game lead over the Braves. Unacceptable
