With the NFL becoming a predominantly passing league, I don't think it's a stretch anymore to draft CBs that high, if they deserve it. Plus, it's kind of a weak draft overall this year so anything can happen.

so who would take him? Jax at No. 2?

The Raiders probably would, which automatically means he'll be a bust.

I think Detroit at 5 or Cleveland at 6 is more suitable

Nope.

I doubt Jax would, and knowing the Raiders, Tavon Austin needs to start buying Oakland shite. The most likely IMO is Detroit

That's what I'm thinking

Would be a great pick. Joins Chris Houston and Delmas, who re-signed, and Glover Quin from the Texans. Would be a nice secondary to compete with Green Bay and Chicago

I'm more curious about what the hell the Bucs are doing with their FA signings. Kaeding? C'mon man.

And if we pick up Revis, do we still go for Rhodes or pick up Eifert? Meh

made two big splashes last year though

I have no clue about Revis. I have a feeling Jets won't trade him and he won't report to training camp

In today's NFL, maybe not.

CB and DE are so highly valued because of their impact against the current trends of NFL offenses... in comparison, on offense, how LT has become a marquee position on the field.

It's all about passing.

We couldn't even spell pass rush last year, so it might be possible to get Sheldon Richardson with our pick, which would be fantastic imo

In most years, probably, in this year's draft, there's not really a ton of "top talent" so may as well take whomever you think is the best player.
