Unless they plan on playing Dirk for 34 of the remaining 36 minutes, and they just figure that Miami isn't shooting that well so they can stay in the game early without him.
But that is dumb, because the best way for Dallas to beat Miami is to build an early 10-point lead WHILE MIAMI ISN'T SHOOTING WELL. Playing from behind or playing even in the first half, and "winning it late" is not what Dallas should be trying to do.
