You also see it in the players....intensity is lacking, teams aren't as nervous, tight....knowing they have at least 2 acceptable losses for the season.
Both teams,will probably go for it a lot on 4th down because bad decisions don't hurt you anymore when losses,don't destroy your season.

Games just aren't interesting or as compelling when there are little consequences.
I remember when Michigan-Notre Dame would meet the first weekend of the season and it was electric! (Unlike this current muted emotional game).. With everyone knowing the losers national title hopes were usually dashed in Week 1.
