Not true all the time. Right Fielders tend to have the best arms and if you have a right handed pitcher that throws hard, right field becomes even more important due to late swings.


Judging a ball coming off the end of a right-hander's bat is more difficult than people realize also.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a youth team where the coach’s kid was not also a pitcher

If the coaches kid was one of the two best, then this is correct. However, if he isn't the coaches kid would be on second base.
