I'd like to see a Scotlandville vs. McKinley final. I did some work for school at McKinley and got to know a player or two. Their coach is cool as shite too

Schedule for games in Hammond:

Thursday, March 1 - John Curtis vs. Mansfield, 6:15
Friday, March 2 - Southern Lab vs. Christian Life, 4:30
Friday, March 2 - Riverside vs. St. Thomas Aquinas, 8:00
Saturday, March 3 - Scotlandville vs. Brother Martin, 4:30
Saturday, March 3 - Madison Prep vs. Simsboro, 6:15
Saturday, March 3 - St. Aug vs. O.P. Walker, 8:00

Motherfrick the LHSAA for splitting these games up over three days. Seriously, frick those assholes. Just play them all on Saturday. There are 3 girls games in Hammond. Play those on Friday, then play the 7 boys games on Saturday.

It's not that fricking hard.

Friday
Girls game - 4:30pm
Girls game - 6:15 pm
Girls game - 8:00pm

Saturday
Guys game - 10:00am (Madison Prep vs. Simsboro)
Guys game - 11:45am
Guys game - 1:30pm
Guys game - 3:15pm
Guys game - 5:00pm
Guys game - 6:45pm
Guys game - 8:30pm

And if you had to, then only have an hour and a half between games so the earliest game could start at 11am and the latest game could start at 8pm.

I'm for sure going on Saturday. I'll probably go Thursday too to see John Curtis play, because the U-High girls play John Curtis that night too.

They play back-to-back too. That building will be filled with Curtis people.

I probably won't go Friday. I've seen Riverside play, and I've seen Christian Life and Southern Lab this year.

Seed breakdown of the final four in each class, starting with 5A...

Big time shake ups in 5A and 4A. 3A-C was majority chalk, but a few 1 seeds did go down. It's really odd that the 1 seed in C went down. Usually the top seed in that class just crushes their way to the final because the talent gap is usually rather big.

4a has gone exactly how I expected except salmen. Had them playing Peabody and walker and aug coming out of the bottom. I had scottlanville and bro Martin coming out of the top of 5a. The bottom half I didn't come close.

I don't like the format either but DAMN Hammond made out great...... I didn't know if they would be able to keep all the local teams from BR and Nola there but it looks like they did......
