I'd try to break it (out of competitiveness) but I'd be proud of them if they got me out and got the PG.
Even, I'd think the pitcher would understand me trying to hit off of them.

I'd probably let him have the PG. It would be hard to keep a friend or brother from something that will probably only come once in his lifetime.
