As I’ve said before, lefanbois have moved their own goalpost from age to season as LeBron has gotten older. For a decade they would use age to support their cause.

LeFanbois, your arguement is weak and flailing.

MJ and Kareem are the two best ever. LeBron doesn’t belong in the conversation.

Personally, I'd say it was Karl Malone as a power forward. If he'd have played in a major TV market he'd have gotten more love from the media.

2nd all-time scoring (36,928), and could have easily played a couple more seasons to break Kareem's record (38,327).

Pre back injury Bird should get an honorable mention.

Nah. You’re delusional. James is far better than Jordan. James was the best player in the world for 10 years. Jordan never even played for 10 straight years.

Hypothetical:

Jordan is the best player in the league and is a 99/100 for 8 seasons.

LeBron is the best player in the league and is a 95/100 for 10 seasons.

Who is better?

Lebron.

Because it is harder to play against NBA players from the 2010’s than it was to play against NBA players from the 1990’s.

Kinda like it was easier to be the fastest man in the world 20 years ago than it is now.

the eastern conference of the 2010’s is better than the eastern conference of the 1990’s. Don’t be stupid.

He needed that team to get Pippen and Jackson and Grant and then Rodman. What’s the difference? (Answer: Pippen, Grant/Rodman, and Jackson are better than Wade, Bosh, and Spoelstra).

And going 3-6 is mathematically harder than going 6-0.

It’s crystal clear, and it always will be unless you’re a moron: Lebron is better than Jordan.

So now you’re judging Jordan against competition he could never, ever beat because it’s impossible for him to play against it.

At this point, I don’t think you believe your argument.

You can believe that LeBron is better, but not for the reasons you’ve laid out here.

Put on your thinking cap. It’s both, of course.

Jordan’s teammates were better compared to the rest of the 1990’s NBA—they won 47 games and were legit contenders without him—than Lebron’s teammates were compared to 2010’s NBA (15 wins?).

The level of talent in the NBA is light years better than it was in the 1990’s.

We can always whip out the comprehensive statistics. Spoiler: Lebron wins that game by a long shot.

Just to clarify: you can’t compare eras because Jordan’s competition wasn’t as good, but you can compare eras when the comparison is statistics. Because the game is played exactly the same today and for the last 15 years as it was 30 years ago.

Did the bulls win any championships when jordan sat out for two years?

Oh shite! 47 games? 6 games above .500? Real contenders right there, again what did they win without jordan?

Just because you keep saying this it doesn't make it true
