Agreed.

I coach AAU basketball and every year I personally sponsor one or two players on the team that can't afford to pay. We play against some of the "programs" of these players. If they want to funnel other peoples money that is supposedly for another cause to the team I guess that's their right but I get a certain satisfaction when we beat their team. I also know that I'm doing it the right way by sponsoring myself instead of deceiving other people to get their money to use for this purpose.

Ododm can afford to sponsor the entire team. For a team of 10 that travels up and down the east coast $10k would have sponsored the entire team including travel. If he's funneling several hundred thousand dollars into it there are people skimming money. Period.

These charities are bullshite and we all know it, but lets not pretend that celebrities, CEOs and politicians all over the country aren't doing the same thing.
