I hope so too man... I'm actually pulling for TTU to do well. I just think people may be expecting a little too much from Crabtree in terms of measurables. There are plenty of guys very similar to Crabtree that demolish college competition (Edwards, Dillard, Josh Reed come to mind) that really aren't the tallest, strongest, or fastest... but they have a really good idea of what they're doing on the field. This is where I would place Crabtree right now... as a total package he's a top-flight receiver, but I would just be surprised to see him be taller than 6'1" and faster than about 4.45.

It'll certainly be interesting to see what he runs at a Pro Day (or at the Combine if he stays that long). Be sure to remind me when that time comes, because I'd certainly be happy to eat crow on this one. I wish the kid the absolute best of luck... seems like a likeable guy.

There is no way he is sub 4.4

He is like Wes Welker. He may not be the fastest, but he can seperate from defenders and in the end, that's what counts.

Robiskie did get open....

And dropped a potential TD before the blocked FG.

I don't think he's overrated.

This should clear up the Crabtree debate. And yes he gets in the Endzone on the second play. Crazy fast and can change directions like Christine Michael.
