Pretty sure he's in, kat :) and I like him.
Haven't read the book. The whole thing makes me sad and I'd probably cry.
Don't know what to make of the filly. She's working well, but I was at fairgrounds for her shitty race two back. Left her out and hit a nice exacta, though.

I heard on the local news today that Johnny V might be riding the filly. Is that the jock you are referring to? I think Gomez is going to get his derby. But we are still a few days away from handicapping.

Yeah, he's on the filly. If she wins I may feel bad. At fairgrounds she was in the barn of my friend and I walked past and called her a slow cow :(

I am going to have to include the filly in exotics based on the fact it seems that the fillies have come to run when facing the boys in the last few years. Won't have her on top, but she will be on the bottom legs.

Mike Pegram says Lookin At Lucky is looking pretty damn good for the Derby. Not as confident as he was with Real Quiet, but still likes his chances.

if I hadn't been at fairgrounds that day, I would too. I still have my win ticket for eight belles :( damn fragile arse unbridled song babies. That's why I won't bet mission impazible.
