How do you still not get that head to head hits aren't the way to do that? YOU STRIP THE BALL. Even if you do force the ball out on a helmt to helmet its usually a penalty.

Outside of the first and last hits those were big hits not dirty ones.

I'm done feeding the troll though. You clearly don't know what the hell you're talking about.

You've obviously spent many days on the practice learning to tackle properly then....

Oh BTW you're a moron.

I think the main problem here is that you people pretend as if you know what players are intending to do. You hit what you can as hard as you can.

Show me one good player who has never separated man from football.

thanks for the links. they prove that a helmet is not necessary to dislodge a ball, which everyone else already knows. those hits were led with the shoulder.

Show me one that did it exclusively by putting his head down and hitting another player in his head.

What part of you don't tackle when trying to separate the man from the football don't you guys gets. Some situations call for for tackles others(the ones we are talking about) call for HITS.

None of them were form tackles that is my point. None of those situations called for a form tackle they called for HITS.

And you can HIT with other parts of your body that don't include your helmet, and you can make contact with parts of the body on the other player that don't include his head.

No one is saying they shouldn't hit you moron, we're saying the players shouldn't lower their head and lead with it into another player's head. It is avoidable and if you've ever spend anytime practicing tackling and hitting you'd know that.

Well unfortunately for people who choose to hit with their head, its breaking the rules. Just because people do it doesn't mean its OK. There are rules against a lot of dangerous actions on the football field, leading with the helmet is now one of them and for good reason.

According to your reasoning it should be OK to facemask. I mean they're just trying to take the guy down right?

So you think James Harrison or Ray Lewis or Dunta Robinson or every other football player out there hasn't practiced tackling literally millions of times?

Helmets hit it happens thousands of time always has and always will. I will bump this thread again to talk about next weeks hits, peace.

Man you're dumb. Just because they choose to do something one way doesn't mean it was the only way they could've made the play. Rodney Harrison admitted on ESPN yesterday that they don't care about fines. Not one bit. They know what they're doing. They choose to make hits in that way. Just because they do it a lot doesn't mean its not dirty, dangerous, and against the rules. Its akin to offensive linemen doing illegal chop blocks.

Incidental contact obviously happens all the time. Intentionally lowering one's head and hitting another player in the helmet is not necessary or routine.

Stop pretending you know what players intend to do.

The whole point of this issue is that these are not unintentional acts. Lowering and leading with your helmet is an intentional act.

Let it go man. This kid is too stupid to waste your time on and he obviously has never been the victim of one of these hits. I think he would change his mind pretty quick if he had been in Desean Jackson's shoes yesterday.
