There goes Iowa’s best chance to win something meaningful for another 60+ years.
Tomorrow: Purdue fans get their dose of reality.

Not sure if it holds true for Purdue given how they’re always in the mix in the Big 10.
But I felt this way about Texas Tech vs. Virginia a few years ago. Once Tech allowed the game-tying three to send it to OT, I knew they were fricked.
On the other hand, OP could say the same thing about Virginia a few years back.
