Bret Favre on his time in Atlanta.

"I used to go out drinking the night before games"

quote:

He didn't think he'd ever get a chance that season, so he probably didn't take it very seriously," Scott Favre said. "Plus, you're young and dumb and in a big, exciting city. We took advantage of it."

If you don't think being in Atlanta didn't play a part in his issues I can't help you.

No one is saying that Green Bay/Buffalo have the same amount of options to do stupid shite as you can do in Atlanta. But just because there are less options to do stupid shite in those two cities doesn’t mean there are no options. If you want to be a dumbass, you can find ways to do it in any city, especially if you are of significant financial means with a decent level of fame.

Buffalo is still way different from Green Bay and you obviously can do stupid shite anywhere. NOBODY is saying you can't but do really think he gets away with going out and getting hammered the night before a game in a small town like Green Bay compared to Atlanta especially pre interwebs?
