Redskins were violent, they murdered many innocent settlers who had done nothing but come to seek a better way of life.

As a person with Cherokee blood, here's my honest opinion:
The Redskins name is racist and should be changed to something better, but I would gladly accept money to keep this opinion to myself.

Sooners were the settlers who stole land in the Indian territory (which became Oklahoma) so he's already played for a racist team name.
