How does the NBA playoffs referee rotation work?

Does one crew go an entire series, or do a few rotate? I notice that Stern likes to bring in Joey Crawford to seal the deal usually, but I'm wondering what the method is.

The crew working that night will always let the other crews know what the line will be so nobody loses money. Crawford is the connected guy so he always get to work the choice games. Stern always call his wager directly to Joe so he can be sure he's betting the right way.
