With them taking the lakers to a game 7 do yall think if yao and tracy were healthy they would of had a legitimate shot at the title?

with mcgrady they dont make it out of the first round

they were a better matchup against the Lakers w/o either
Not saying they are a better team longterm or in the regular season
Just against the Laker team that showed up on the road
Now had the Lakers played the well they are supposed too, it would have been a different story.
I do feel Houston played far better than what they should have. They really fed off that Houston crowd. The Lakers soft play didn't make it any easier

yes, but it has nothing to do with them taking the lakers to 7. anybody who's watched houston play the last month or two knows that they had a shot to win it all.

they were 100% not a better match up without either. with t mac and yao healthy that series more than likely goes to houston. Rockets needed t macs 28ppg even if it means taking away from AB's production as well as his ability to distribute. not to mention the lakers would have been forced to put the double on t mac if he heated up freeing Ron and Luis to do their thing. Yao was desperatly needed as you saw today. He was the reason we won game 1 and with t mac would have been the reason we won the series IMO
